Regional Alliance for Fostering Youth (RAFY) has said that they are working to complete and release their audio album “Mithuru” (Partner) next month.
The album contains songs from six local artists in eight languages.
The Founding President of the first international organization of the Maldives, RAFY, Aishath Rafiyya, told Sun Media that the album “Mithuru” will be completed in the middle of next month and they are working to release it as soon as possible.
“Mithuru” contains a total of nine songs which is the theme song and eight other songs in eight different languages.
The languages on the album include Dhivehi, English, Russian, Arabic, Malay, Mandarin and Tagalog.
Artists featured on the album include Mohamed Zaleef Abdulla, Samaaha Moosa, Fathimath Nabath Shakeeb and Mohamed Abdul Ghanee more popularly known as “Theyravaa”. The album also features 11-year-old Aminath Ainee Rilwan.
A trailer for the album was recently released at Singapore Royal Institute's 8th Global Congress and Conferment Ceremony in Malaysia on 12 August by the Chairman of the Sun Siyam Group and Leader of MDA, Ahmed Siyam Mohamed and the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment of Sabah State, Malaysia, Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun.
At the ceremony, the artists featured on the album received recognition from the Royal Institute of Arts and was presented with membership of the Institute.
The NGO RAFY says that the progress of the album is being made with the help of a number of people.
