Work has begun to accredit IGMH and bring the hospital up to the standards and guidelines of the Indian National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and the Indian National Accredit Board for Hospitals and Health Care Providers (NABH).

The accreditation process carried out under consultation with an Indian firm, according to IGMH.

The standards of NABL and NABH are accredited by the International Society for Quality in Health Care. NABH is also a founding member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care.

IGMH stated that the accreditation process was to standardize the work of hospitals to international standards and maintain these standards in a streamlined manner.

The process would also allow customers to gain information about the hospital services easily, and allow the hospital to provide services according to the international set standards.
