Kegos welcomes new year with new menu of must-try dishes

For the new year, Kegos café and restaurant has a new twist.

The restaurant revamped its menu and introduced dishes its customers can never have enough of. The assurance by Kegos that these dishes would never go out of action was evident from the opportunity to taste the dishes. As the plates were organized on the desk, we rushed to sample the dishes.

Chicken Parm

One of the most eye-catching dishes introduced was the Chicken Parm. Why? because of the perfect presentation. The presentation piques the interest of the diner and creates an eagerness to find the truth about the dish that can only be done so by tasting it.

One side of the plate is filled with the chef’s special marinara sauce and spaghetti. The other, if filled with a mouthwatering chicken breast covered in a thick layer of cheese.

Most people who are left annoyed with the small portions of meat would fall in love with this dish. All worries about meat portions are certain to evaporate with this dish making it a resounding favorite that customers would not get bored of.

Chicken Kebab

A dish that is popular among Maldivians is taken to another level by Kegos.

The kebab dish of Kegos, will satisfy people with different tastes in food. Hard to believe, but the dish is perfect for the type of people who love spicy food and those who don’t. The dish comes with vegetables, garlic and a rice portion to complement the juicy chicken kebab that is grilled to perfection.

Beef stroganoff

Stroganoff dishes became famous in the Maldives in the 2000s. Kegos has finally decided to introduce its version of the renowned dish that is to die for. The Beef stroganoff soaked in cream sauce is a very different dish.

Many complain that stroganoff dishes are often hard to chew, but that’s not what customers would find with the dish at Kegos that is cooked to the perfect tenderness. Unlike most restaurants that serve stroganoff dishes with rice portions, Kegos turned things up a notch with a side of pasta.

Mongolian rice

A common dish in the Maldives is once again differentiated by Kegos through taste and portion size.

The large portion and the delicious chicken are best described as an explosion of flavor. Something to be tried on a visit.

Chilli Boava returns

Even though traditionally popular among Maldivians, it was only recently that octopus entered the menus of restaurants. A popular dish at Kegos previously, the “Chilli Boava” saw a slight interruption only to be included in the menu once again for the new year. A gift to the many customers that missed the dish on the menu.

What is special about Kegos cafe and restaurant is the fact that it offers such tasty dishes at such an affordable rate. One of the lowest in terms of price but the highest in terms of quality and taste, Kegos is the true meaning of value for money.
