Emirates to ramp up frequency to Maldives in August

Emirates has announced that it will be ramping up its operations to the Maldives with six flights per week starting from August 4.

The airline currently conducts five flights per week between the Maldives and Dubai. Emirates recommenced operations to the Maldives on July 16, a day after the country officially reopened it borders after three months in lockdown due to COVID-19.

Emirates will also be recommencing operations to the Seychelles starting from August 1. The Emirates Holidays has also introduced special holiday packages to the Maldives and Seychelles for UAE residents.

Emirates is a major source of tourists from Europe and the Middle East to the Maldives. Other than Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad also operates to the Maldives.
