COVID-19: Maldives records 32nd virus related death

On Sunday, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirmed the death of a COVID-19 patient, taking the total number of deaths recorded in the country due to the virus to 32.

HPA, in a tweet, stated that the individual was a 58-year old local female. She was admitted at the Hulhumale' Medical Facility when she passed away.

The time of death is recorded as 03:55. 

The Maldives currently has 9,052 confirmed cases, with 1,960 active cases. With the 62 new infections this Saturday alone, 566 people have tested positive over the last one-week period.
