306 tourist facilities in Maldives currently operational

The Tourism Ministry of the Maldives has stated that there are 306 tourist facilities operational in the Maldives up until November 4. 

Statistics released by the Ministry show that 120 resorts, 65 guesthouses, and 121 safaris were currently operational. This is a total of 32,622 beds. 

The Ministry said that nine more resorts and one hotel/guesthouse were set to commence operations by the end of December. This is a total of 1,782 beds. 

Since the borders of the Maldives reopened on July 15, the Maldives has so far welcomed 44,365 tourists. In total, the nation has received 427,212 tourists with the highest number of tourist arrivals recorded from Russia.
