Shops, cafe and restaurant business hours extended

The HPA has announced easements to COVID-19 restrictions in the capital Male’ City whereby shops, cafes and restaurants can now serve customers until 23:00. 

Curfew hours in Male’ City were also revised to now run from 00:00 to 4:00. Economic Ministry, announced that shops are now permitted to operate until 23:00 due to the easements. Previously these businesses were permitted to operate until 22:00. 

Cafes and restaurants can also be run from 4:30 to 23:30, revised from the previous restrictions whereby they were to be closed by 22:30.  HPA has advised restaurants and cafes operating to adhere to safety measures.
