COVID-19: Maldives confirms 20 new cases

Health Protection Agency (HPA) has announced 22 additional cases of COVID-19, increasing confirmed cases in the Maldives to 13,368.

With the new cases, Maldives has a total of 607 active cases. 

Meanwhile, 47 additional COVID-19 patients were confirmed to have made full recoveries over the last 24 hours, increasing total recoveries to 12,706.

There are a total of 67 patients in the hospital. 

HPA specified that 2,035 samples were collected for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Health officials have so far collected 269,425 samples for the virus.

  • December 7: 15 cases

48 COVID-19 patients have died from complications.
