BML donates to SEN classes in 10 schools

Bank of Maldives (BML) has donated resources needed for students in Special Educational Needs (SEN) classes in 10 schools in Maldives.

BML made the donation on occasion of International Day of Education begin marked this Wednesday, emphasizing on the importance of inclusive and quality education to provide lifelong opportunities for all.

BML said the resources donated by the bank will aid SEN classes build a better learning environment through interactive play-and-learn.

BML made donations to:

  • H. A. Atoll Education Center
  • H. Dh. Atoll Education Center
  • Lh. Atoll Education Center
  • K. Atoll Madrasa
  • A. A. Mathiveri School
  • A. A. Fenfushi School
  • Dh. Atoll Education Center
  • L. Atoll Education Center
  • Mohamed Jamaluddin School
  • S. Atoll Madrasa

BML states their donations to the schools will reach over 400 students.

BML states that supporting people with disabilities is a key area of focus under its CSR strategy.

The bank also made donations to SEN classes in 10 schools last year, and donated motorized wheelchairs to 65 special needs persons across Maldives.
