The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has made arrangements so that people attending to receive vaccines, can now check the queue at three vaccine centers of Male’ City, to prevent congestion and long queues.

Vaccinations were carried out from 21:00 to 23:00 in the month of Ramadan. However, even after the health authorities extended the vaccine timings to finish at 23:45, complaints have been made over extremely long queues, stretching around the blocks of vaccine centers.

HPA said that in order to resolve these complaints, the agency had made arrangements so that people can now check the status of the queue online as they go for vaccinations.

The three vaccine centers are the National Art Gallery, Social Center, and the Hulhumale' Vaccination Center. These centers administer the second dose of the Covishield vaccine.

HPA said that upon scanning the QR code of the vaccine queue number, people can check the status of the queue.
