Maldivian to begin Maafaru-New Delhi flights in October

Maldives’ national airline – Maldivian - has announced plans to start direct flights between Maafaru International Airport and India’s New Delhi in October. 

Maldivian announced on Monday that it will begin Maafaru-New Delhi flights on October 21. 

The airline is going to operate flights on Maafaru-New Delhi route three days a week. Flights from Maafaru to New Delhi will be on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays, while flights from New Delhi to Maafaru will be on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. 

The Maafaru-New Delhi route will be the first new route launched by Maldivian since the COVID-19 pandemic began. 

The rate of two-way tickets from Maafaru to New Delhi begins at USD 285, while the rate of two-way tickets from New Delhi to Maafaru begins at USD 312. 

Tickets can be booked through Maldivian’s website and app once the new route is launched.
