MWSC inaugurates MVR 49.6M water project in Feevah

Male’ Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has inaugurated the water project in Sh. Feevah. 

The project was inaugurated by MWSC’s Managing Director Hassan Shah in a ceremony held at Feevah on Saturday morning. 

The water project in Feevah is valued at MVR 49.60 million. 

The project involves establishing a 9.18-kilometer main water pipeline network, construction of an RO facility, installation of two RO plants, and three water tanks to store water.    

Additional work includes installation of water meters in households, providing water connections, and supplying clean and safe drinking water.    

MWSC will also provide equipment to test the water quality.   

MWSC has already begun installation of pipes and construction of the RO facility. 

The inauguration ceremony was attended by parliamentarians, local government officials, and senior officials from MWSC. 

MWSC said it hopes to complete the project and supply the residents of Feevah with safe and clean drinking water as soon as possible.
