62-year-old woman discovered dead in N. Manadhoo

A 62-year-old woman was discovered dead in N. Manadhoo on Friday evening.

Police said the woman resided alone in a home at Manadhoo. Her family contacted the police at approximately 6:13pm on Friday evening after a period of no contact.

Officers went to her residence following the report where she was found dead inside her room.

“Officers attended to her home upon receiving the report where they discovered her dead body sprawled on the floor of her room after they broke down the door,” a Police media official said.

Police said the case is under further investigation.
