Maldives Brain and Spine Conference ’23 slated for October 23

ADK Hospital has announce the launch of the Maldives Brain and Spine Conference 2023, set to take place from the October 23-26 at the Villa Nautica.

Organized by ADK Hospital, the international conference will bring together medical experts from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in neurosurgery and neurosurgical conditions.

ADK Hospital’s managing director Ahmed Afaal said this year’s conference focuses on brain and machine interphase, artificial intelligence in neurosurgery, and neurosurgical conditions.

“This is a very technical conference. Experts from across the world will be in attendance,” he said.

The Maldives Brain and Spine Conference 2023 serves as a global platform for sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and exploring the latest advancements in neurological care.

The conference has been a valuable platform for medical professionals to exchange ideas, share experiences, and learn the latest techniques in the dynamic field.

This year’s conference will feature pre-conference workshops, live brain and spine surgeries at ADK Hospital, and a scientific session with paper presentations and discussions on a wide array of neurosurgical diseases.

It is open to international faculties from around the world as well as to local experts in the field of medicine.

Afaal said some 200 medical experts are expected to participate in this year’s conference.

“I can safely say, this is the biggest annual academic conference held at a scientific level,” he said.

Waldives and Villa Nautica signed as partners for the conference on Thursday.
