Villingili WDC awards cash prize to students who made top ten

The Women’s Development Committee of GA. Villingili has awarded a cash prize to students from GA. Atoll Education Centre who made it into A’ Level and O’ Level national top ten in the academic year 2021-2022.

Each student received MVR 1,000.

They include 11 students who made it into O’ Level national top ten and four students who made it into A’ Level national top ten.

Villingili WDC’s President Aminath Suhana Naeem said the committee annually lists things they can do within their mandate in their activity calendar, whereas the cash prize for the students, was one of such.

“Something was given last year as well. Similarly, we did it this year too. This is a gift for the students to recognize their hard work,” she said.

Suhana reiterated the WDC’s commitment to providing assistance in anything related to students.
