A-level exams begin

The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exams began on Tuesday, for A-level students in the Maldives.

1,363 students from 45 exam centers are sitting in this year’s HSC exam.

The students set for the Islam paper on Tuesday. The exam took place from 09:00 am to 10:30 am.

The HSC exams will continue until October 8.

Meanwhile, the Edexcel A-level exams will begin on October 9, and continue until October 27.

2,268 students from the Maldives will sit in this year’s exam.

In recent years, many Maldivian students have placed in the world top ten in the A-levels.
