Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has opened a service centre in B. Eydhafushi.

The service centre was inaugurated by Eydhafushi Council President Mohamed Faathih and B. Atoll Council President Ahmed Afrah.

MIB, commenting on the service centre, said modern technology will be utilized to provide services at the centre. Despite the centre not including a cash depositing counter, the bank said cash deposit and cash withdrawal services will be available at the centre 24 hours.

With the establishment of the centre, the bank notes customers from the region will no longer be required to travel to Male’ to seek their financing services.

MIB describes the service centre as one of their new visions. Similar centres will soon be opened at ADh. Mahibadhoo and L Gan, said the bank, with efforts already underway to establish centres in various regions of the country in the upcoming year.
