Missing Hithadhoo woman found from Male’

The woman from Addu City’s Hithadhoo district whom police launched a search operation for after she was reported missing has been found from Male’ City.

The missing woman was identified as Aishath Vishama, 39, Kadhurumaage, S. Hithadhoo

Police, in a post on X earlier today, said she was found from Male’ at approximately 10:30pm tonight, adding that she was in good health.

Vishama’s family reported her missing on Sunday.

Recently, there has been an increase in the number of missing persons cases reported; often the person in question gets in contact with their family shortly after police make public announcements seeking to locate them.
