BML supports establishment of therapy room in Imaduddin School

Bank of Maldives (BML) has supported the establishment of a therapy room for children with complex learning difficulties and disabilities in Imaduddin School.

BML said the room was established as part of its CSR initiative.

 The therapy room is designed to positively impact learning and development in an inclusive environment, and is equipped to provide services including speech and occupational therapy as well as sensory activities and counselling.

BML said that the therapy room will be used by 130 students at the Imaduddin School’s Jewel Center.

The national bank continues to invest in philanthropy and education, sports and environment projects.

According to BML, education is a priority area for the bank.

Over the last four years, BML has donated resources to Special Education Needs (SEN) classes in 40 schools across the country. It has also assisted in the establishment of computer labs in schools in the atolls.
