Woman hit with falling pipe from Male’ construction site

A woman sustained injuries on Wednesday, after getting hit with a metal pipe that fell from a construction site in Male’ City.

The incident took place at around 07:29 pm Wednesday.

The pipe reportedly fell from the building under construction by Tata, on the land which previously housed the Naadhee Building. It injured a WAMCO worker.

Police confirm the incident injured a woman.

She is being treated at the ADK Hospital.

The case is under further investigation by the police.
