Munim reappointed state minister

Munim Anees, who was dismissed after being “mistakenly” appointed State Minister at the Tourism Ministry earlier, has been reappointed to the post.

Tourism Ministry congratulated Munim on his appointment via a post on X.

Munim was suddenly dismissed from his post three days after he was initially appointed State Minister at the Tourism Ministry.

Since assuming office, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has dismissed two individuals who were appointed state ministers in his administration, just a few days after their appointment.

The President has previously attributed the dismissals to mistaken appointments, adding they would not repeated.
