Pres. Muizzu departs for Singapore on unofficial visit

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has departed for Singapore on an unofficial visit.

The President’s Office provided no further details regarding trip, which marks the President’s fourth to Singapore since assuming office and his third unofficial visit.

President Muizzu most recently visited Singapore on a state visit from June 29^th to July 2^nd. During the visit undertaken at the invitation of Singapore's President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, the President engaged in discussions with his Singaporean counterpart and country’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on strengthening bilateral ties. 

His last unofficial visit to Singapore was during last year’s August for a medical checkup.
