85 Male' City buildings report flooding

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) confirmed at least 85 buildings in Male' City reported sustaining various damages owing to non-stop rainfall on Saturday morning. Six out of these buildings have sustained damages rendering them unhospitable.  NDMA said it was working with Maldives Red Crescent, conducting rapid assessments of the damaged properties. The authority further confirmed installing 241 sand-bag barrages in 41 houses
