Implementation of justice is the most important service to the people: Chief Justice

Chief Justice Ahmed Faiz Hussain has said that the most important service provided by the State to the people is the proper implementation of justice.

The Chief Justice made his statements while speaking at an event held in Alif Dhaalu Dhigurah to inaugurate the island’s new magistrate court house.

He said that the State will continue to provide judicial services to the maximum extent that their capability allows.

Speaking of the shortage of judges, the Chief Justice said that the children studying in the school also have the prospect of becoming future judges.

Alif Dhaalu Dhugurah Magistrate Court construction project was completed by “Sumbuli” carpentry, a project worth MVR 1,152,396.

The Chief Justice also inaugurated the magistrate court in Faafu Bileidhoo yesterday, a project worth MVR 999,998 carried out by one of the island’s entrepreneur, Abdulla Zuhair of Faafu Bieldhoo Nirolhuge.

Magistrate courts in both Faafu Bileidhoo and Alif Dhaalu Dhigurah were previously conducted in the islands’ island council offices.
