Woman found dead in the sea off Hulhudhoo

An elderly woman was discovered dead in the sea off Addu City’s Hulhudhoo on Monday.

Member of Hulhudhoo Council Hussain Faizul Rahman told Sun that the woman was discovered at approximately 12:00pm this afternoon.

According to Faizul Rahman, the woman frequently goes swimming. She was discovered in waters off the vicinity of her home.

Police said the woman was dead when she was taken to the hospital. They identified her as a 78-year-old.
