A youth was injured in a second gang fight in Addu City this evening.

They detailed that a 20-year-old Maldivian man was injured by a sharp object, who is now being treated at Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH).

The incident comes after a gang fight in Addu City’s Hithadhoo district on Friday night left a 30-year-old Maldivian man seriously injured with stab wounds.

Police announced the arrest of four suspects in connection to the fight earlier today. They identified the arrestees as an 18-year-old, a 19-year-old, a 20-year-old and a 23-year-old.
