Visit Maldives seeks local ambassador to promote Maldives

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Cooperation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) has made an announcement seeking a local ambassador to promote Maldives’ tourism.

MMPRC, in its announcement, Visit Maldives Local Ambassadorship Program is an opportunity for talented Maldivians to showcase their products to the whole world.

Under this initiative, MMPRC will collaborate with skilled Maldivians from various fields who are eager to present their products to a global audience, thereby promoting the culture, heritage, and products of the Maldives worldwide.

The local ambassador will get the opportunity to promote Maldivian tourism via MMPRC.

The Corporation invited all individuals interested in representing the Maldives’ local identity, culture, and natural beauty to submit their proposals. Accordingly, interested candidates were instructed to send in their talent portfolio along with a proposal detailing their ideas to further enhance the Maldivian tourism industry via email.

MMPRC is seeking a local ambassador shortly after the appointment of Bollywood icon Katrina Kaif as the global brand ambassador for Maldives, becoming the new face of the ‘Sunny Side of Life.’
