Maldivian band 2ofus, which placed second runner-up in Battle of the Bands International 2025 – one of Asia’s biggest music competitions – has been appointed inaugural ambassadors under Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Cooperation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives)’s Local Ambassador Program.
MMPRC opened applications for Visit Maldives Local Ambassadorship Program on Sunday.
MMPRC, via a post on X on Monday, announced 2ofus had been appointed inaugural ambassadors under the program.

Under this initiative, MMPRC will collaborate with skilled Maldivians from various fields who are eager to present their products to a global audience, thereby promoting the culture, heritage, and products of the Maldives worldwide.
2ofus is a fusion band led by Ahmed Adhuham (Adhu), and composed of four other artists; Abdulla Shamrooh, Mohamed Nasooh Bin Nasruddin, Ahmed Shaheed (Shahyd Legacy), and Ahmed Jasheem.
The band, which gained popularity after its success in Battle of the Bands International, has received an invitation to audition for the 19th season of Britain's Got Talent, one of UK’s biggest reality TV shows.
