Gov clears piles of rubbish from Industrial Village

Authorities on Saturday began cleaning up the Industrial Village in Male’ City, where rubbish, including construction and household waste, have piled up. The area is being cleared by the Male’ City Council, in collaboration with Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO), Housing Ministry, Local Government Ministry, Maldives Ports Limited, and the police. Male’ City Council said that some of the areas will be closed
