Drugs worth over MVR 800K attempted to smuggled seized

Maldives Customs has seized drugs worth over MVR 800,000 that were attempted to smuggled to Maldives on Saturday night. Customs said the drugs were seized during a further search of a general goods shipment that arrived in the Maldives from Thailand due to suspicions that the shipment contained drugs. Customs detailed that the drugs were concealed in 20 packets and tested positive
