Suspect released after police rule out link to drugs

The police have released the suspect who was arrested after he went to claim a shipment of drugs with MVR 26 million seized by Customs earlier this week, citing lack of evidence linking him with the drugs. The shipment of 18.62 kilos of cannabinoids that was smuggled into the Maldives via air was seized by Customs in an operation on Tuesday.
