Handicapped woman raped in Bodufolhudhoo

A case involving the alleged sexual abuse and rape of a handicapped woman has surfaced from the island of A.A. Bodufolhudhoo. 

Police received reports of the incident last night. A media official of police said to Sun that the incident involved a handicapped woman who was raped and filmed by the alleged perpetrators.

The woman was taken to the shipyard area of the island where the two alleged perpetrators raped her. 

Two locals aged 28 and 23 were arrested in connection with the incident under a court order, said the police.
